Thai Cooking Retreat (9-10 April 2010) - enquire now

Indulge your hidden passion for Thai cooking and learn alongside a highly talented and experienced chef, Paul Blain. Originally hailing from ‘Darley St Thai’ in Sydney, before moving on to establish his own ‘Chilli Jam Café’ in Noosa and then the couples retreat ‘Tamarind’ on the Sunshine Coast, Paul has also travelled, experienced, absorbed and lived the Thai lifestyle and wants to share his knowledge with you, within the luxurious surroundings of Spicers Peak Lodge.

Enquire now for the 2010 Thai Cooking Retreat (dates yet to be confirmed).

Your journey into Thai cooking will commence at 10.30am on a Saturday morning with Paul Blain. Learn how to use unique ingredients and techniques to create exciting food flavours and textures within your own home. You will also be treated by the attendance of the sommelier to present a variety of wines to complement your newfound cooking skills. To round off the experience, you will enjoy coffee and luscious chocolates after dessert – that’s if you can possibly fit any more in! You will also receive a collection of recipes to take home as a memento of your day, and to make sure you remain inspired even after you have driven away from the lodge.

All standard Spicers Peak Lodge inclusions apply: accommodation in a luxury Lodge Suite or Spa Suite and all meals (including morning and afternoon teas, alfresco lunch or deluxe picnic hamper and 7 course degustation dinner) and all beverages throughout your stay. You will also receive a welcome gift on arrival, pre-dinner drinks and canapés on dusk, petit fours, ports and liqueurs to follow dinner, 24 hour beverage service and complimentary in-room mini bar, L’Occitane amenities, nightly turndown service and personal farewell gift on departure – not to mention the intimate cooking class with Paul Blain on Saturday.
